She was standing in the kitchen, preparing our usual soft-boiled eggs and toast for breakfast, wearing only The ‘T’ shirt that she normally slept in.
As I walked in, almost awake, she turned to me and said softly,
“You’ve got to make love to me this very moment!”
My eyes lit up and I thought,
“I am either still dreaming or this is going to be my lucky day!”
Not wanting to lose the moment, I embraced her and then Gave it my all; right there on the kitchen table.
Afterwards, she said,
“Thanks,” and returned to the stove, her T-shirt still around her neck.
Happy, but a little puzzled, I asked,
“What was that all about?”....Brilliant continuation in the first comment 👇👇

MY BETROTHED AND HIS MOTHER INSISTED I DON A SCARLET WEDDING GOWN — BUT I HAD A CLEVERER PLAN.
When Daniel popped the question, I was ecstatic. Within days, I purchased my ideal ivory wedding gown—delicate, sophisticated, flawless.
Then his mother, Margaret, who had never been fond of me (especially since I had a child from a past relationship), laid eyes on it.
Her expression contorted. "Absolutely not. You cannot wear ivory."
I blinked. "Pardon me?"
She sneered. "Ivory is for virtuous brides. You have a child."
I turned to Daniel, expecting him to refute this nonsense. Instead, he nodded. "She's correct. It's only reasonable."
Reasonable? REASONABLE?!
The following day, my dress had VANISHED.
In its place? A striking CRIMSON gown. Purchased with MY money.
Margaret smirked. "Now, THIS is an APPROPRIATE dress."
I clenched my hands into fists. Fine. Let them believe they had triumphed.
I arrived in their crimson dress. Margaret beamed—clad in IVORY. What a shock! Even Daniel, in his pristine ivory suit, looked self-satisfied.
As I approached the altar, I took a slow, measured glance at the attendees.
Then, one by one, they all ROSE TO THEIR FEET. Margaret’s mouth dropped open. "WHAT—WHAT IS THIS?!"
Then—it unfolded. ⬇️
